PROPERTY OF POLYPROPYLENE FIBER

By its nature Polypropylene is water-repellent, stain-proof, mold-and bacterium-proof. Without adding any chemical additives, Polypropylene has anallergic and anti-odour properties even after a long physical activity. Particularly suitable to the sportswear underclothes due to its great resistance to the acid agents and to the alkaline sweats, Polypropylene grants a high level of comfort, practicality and hygienic security at the contact with the skin. Polypropylene is the fibre with the lowest specific weight; therefore it is possible to obtain very light clothes that maintain the body dry thanks to its very low capacity to absorb humidity.

It has a draining function allowing sweat not to be absorbed by the fibre but to filter outside pushed by the body heat or to be absorbed by other fibres. The dress makes no pilling, fibre and colours have a great resistance against both dry and wet abrasion and it has an easy maintenance, as Polypropylene fibre has no alteration even after having been washed many times and it is enough to spread the dress without ironing it.

In the choice of the title to be used it is much important to take into account the different results.
An interesting particularity of Polypropylene is the possibility to use a more thin title because with same title we obtain more volume and a greater covering capacity.

Polypropylene is non-deformable and resistant, it has a very low static charge and a very low thermal conductivity similar to the one of the wool with the benefit to dry much faster. The pleasant sensation of wellbeing, hot and dry allow us to define Polypropylene a "Hot fibre".
